A game a lot closer than many thought. Russell led 8-6 at halftime, and Adair took a 25-14 lead in the 4th quarter but then it went downhill. An Adair fumble at their own 30 yard line led to a Russell Touchdown to make it 25-20, then Russell retrieved an onside kick and would punch it in to end up winning 28-25. Penalties by Russell County really hurt them tonight and kept the game close, but if you are Adair County and new head coach Van Isaac you have to be pleased as this was a 43-6 blowout last season.

Yes junior Cameron Harmon led the Indians in rushing with 111 yards and a touchdown and senior Jacob Cato added 52 yards rushing and a touchdown.

The Indians were out gained 297 yards to 192 yards.
