Can the suspension be appealed?

 

From what I’ve seen from Dixie parents, an appeal has been filed. We’ll see tomorrow at 1:00 if she’s in the dugout or at first. It will suck if she has to sit, but fortunately for her, her career will continue at NKU next year.

The video says otherwise. I see nothing wrong with over ruling the umpires on this. Is there any umpire out there willing to speak up? If the state had reviewed the video and said they do not see intent to run over the catcher despite the umpire's report, should the umpire be upset? Is overruling the suspension a lack of support for the umpire?
