May 26, 20197 yr Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible in portions of southern Indiana, Ohio large portions of Kentucky. The main threats are mainly severe wind and hail. Conditions look to be favorable to be sufficient to support occasional isolated supercells. It seems the timing will be from 4 pm to 9 pm EDT. The HRRR radar shows this. The storms may not be exactly where the radar shows but it appears they will form later today. I will try an post an update around mid-morning before I head to church.
May 26, 20197 yr Author It appears that the possible scattered strong to severe could be more numerous later this afternoon. Parts of western Kentucky may get in on the action. Conditions are favorable for the development of supercell storms. The threats are about the same as this morning but a little higher than then. Damaging winds and hail are the primary things to look out for. Tornadoes are not expected but the conditions are being monitored so one can't be completely ruled out. The HRRR radar from 2 pm to 9 pm EDT today. Some could receive upwards to around 1" of rain accumulations. Especially under the stronger storms. These areas are represented by the darker pink colors. Everyone should have a way to get weather information this afternoon. Be weather aware later today.
