Anyone else watched this Hulu series?

Based on a true story about a mother that fakes her daughter's illnesses leading to a home from Habitat for Humanity and other charitable gifts.

Mother actually convinced daughter she was ill as a means to control her.

Very troubling story.

I've not seen this show, but it sounds exactly like something that was on an episode of Dateline NBC or something of that nature. The one I am think of I believe that the young lady and her mother lived somewhere in Missouri. Very bizarre and sad on many levels.

Yes, same story. Made the daughter stay in a wheelchair even though she could walk fine and had a feeding tube put in because she had the girls saliva glands removed.
