Are NKY teams the only JV teams getting screwed, or do all JV teams across the state get screwed? Having these games immediately after varsity games during the week does not make sense. These girls are, at times, only getting to play 1 or 2 inning games each night as varsity games run long. Why can't JV teams go to the other team's field like they do in baseball?

Logistics probably- some teams probably don't have enough coaches and players. Some varsity teams probably have to have JV players there just in case they need to use them.

I have ask this question for a few years. What we have done in the past is schedule a triangle on a Saturday, that way the JV players get their own game and get to play two games. But I am with you 100 per cent, if the boys do it, the girls should as well.

Umpires would be 1 reason and having enough players for some schools would

be the other.
