Paducah Tilghman has hired alumni Greg Overstreet who has coached the past 16 years at cross-town school St. Mary.

If you talked with anyone associated with Tilghman, past or present, about who they wanted as the next coach, this was unanimously the answer you were given.

 

His name has been thrown around for years, even before Coach Thomas was hired.

 

It's hard to get to people to agree on things anymore, but this is one of those things that I believe everyone will be pleased with.

 

He will have some expectation as he is thought very highly of.
