Russell 6 Huntington (WV) 2

Featured Replies

Russell's off to a region best 5-0 start. They're getting it done at the plate and on the mound, outscoring their opposition 61-12 so far. Several Red Devils have had great starts to the season, but Isaac Jenkins in particular has been tearing it up with his bat and arm both.

This is a senior laden team that could be primed for a region breakthrough after back to back trips to the region semis. Coach Rice has this bunch dialed in right outta the gate.

I figured we would have a pretty good team with being senior laden before the season started.

This could very likely be the year that Russell breaks the losing streak to Greenup County as well. How many in a row over Russell is the streak at for Greenup County right now?

I think it's 30+ in a row for Greenup over Russell. I know Greenup's been really good for a long time, but that losing streak borders on absurd. It's time to put a stop to it.
