March 22, 20197 yr The Bolts win their 7th in a row, blowing out Carolina in the third on the road. The Hurricanes took a 3-2 lead into the 3rd period, only to watch Tampa Bay score 4 goals, the finisher, an empty netter by Ryan McDonagh. Steven Stamkos, Tyler Johnson, Brayden Point, Anthony Cirelli, and Ryan Callahan all scored for the Lighting. Tampa Bay got their 58th win of the season and now has 120 points, 1 shy of the 2009/10 Capitals and 4 less than the 2005/06 Red Wings.
March 22, 20197 yr I had to step away from this game with Tampa Bay down 3-2 in the 2nd period. They looked like a team playing on a back-to-back and the "Jerks" looked like they were keeping them in check. I was surprised to see the final score this morning. This team can't stop impressing me.
March 22, 20197 yr Author Yanni Gourde is in trouble for a check he made on Staal. Did not see it, but I wouldn't put it past him. He got a game misconduct, so he'll probably get a game off, too.
