Bishop Brossart High School Administration is pleased to announce Tony Dotson as the school’s new head girls soccer coach.

 

Coach Dotson has been a fixture as a girls soccer coach in Cincinnati for the last two decades.

Most recently he coached at St. Ursula Academy, as well as with the Cincinnati West Soccer Club and the Total Futbol Academy (TFA).

During his three seasons as the head JV coach at Ursula Academy, Dotson’s teams compiled a 44-1-6 record, while outscoring their opponents 150-11. He was also a varsity assistant while at Ursula, and the 2016 varsity team won the district championship.

 

Dotson currently coaches 2 elite level girls teams and 1 premier level girls team with the Cincinnati West Soccer Club, where he has coached the last six seasons.

“Coach Dotson certainly has a strong record of success and experience in coaching girls soccer,” said Kevin Bundy, Bishop Brossart athletic director. “But his passion for the game, his experience in coaching girls of different age and skill levels, and his strong vision for how to lead our program really resonated with us after talking to him. The folks I spoke with at St. Ursula were very complimentary of his soccer knowledge and coaching style.”

 

Dotson is a graduate of Oak Hills High School, where he lettered in soccer. He played soccer at both Tiffin University and St. Francis College before earning his Associates Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Cincinnati. He is self-employed and has three children,

daughter’s Riley (17) and Finley (14), and son Keegan (12).

 

“I am super excited about starting my varsity career at Bishop Brossart,” Dotson said. “It’s the perfect spot for me to take over a strong program and make it even stronger.”

 

A reception introducing coach Dotson to the Brossart community will take place at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, in Hegenauer Hall. All players and parents are invited to attend.
