Kentucky Regaining Reputation As Fertile Area For Recruiting

 

There is truly some amazing talent coming up in the state this season. Let's hope that it continues. If it does, we're in store for some great basketball around Kentucky in the coming years.

I'm glad the talent level is rising here in KY. I've seen some of those kids play that are mentioned on that list and I was impressed with everyone of them, especially Proffit from South Laurel and Miller from Mason County.

I'm a Louisville guy from birth so the talent levels in the sixth and seventh regions alone has me really excited just about the fields for the King of the Bluegrass and Louisville Invitational Tournament this year. I can't wait to see the Brooks kid from Doss and a couple of faces I've seen before in Beckham from Ballard and Coleman from J-Town (the latter two I'll definitely make a point of seeing since Trinity has them in regional play).

 

Speaking of which... any J-Town fans or people familiar with the seventh region have an idea of where Coleman may be looking to go to school?

I don't know that this class is one of the better ones Kentucky has had, only that it looks very good compared to some of the subpar classes we've had in recent years. Kentucky has been in a real downswing recently ...
