Lloyd Memorial does not play in the NKY Div. 1, 2, or 3. They play in the North Central Kentucky Conference, which consists of Owen County, Gallatin County, Walton-Verona, Trimble County, Henry County, Williamstown & Eminence. This was a change made by former AD and now principal Mike Key where the Juggernauts and Lady Juggernauts could play for a conference title.

 

Schools like Lloyd and other smaller schools will continue to struggle to compete with the larger schools. When you have a school with 500 students vs 1600 the talent pool just isn't there. Such as Lloyd having only 1 senior on the team and 2 sophomores have been part of the starting line up most of the season would struggle against teams with a full bench of seniors and juniors. There is a big difference between a 14/15 year old and a 17/18 year old in size and experience. Most teams are aware of Conference and District games which are equally important to them.
