Owsley County 60 Estill County 57 (56th District)

Featured Replies

Final.

Estill had 3 chances to take the lead right around 10 seconds to go, all right at the rim and all 3 came off. Really tough loss for Estill but a good win for Owsley.

Congrats Lady Owls.

Apparently Owsley's coach was acting a fool. Acting like he just won a state championship. Grabbing female spectators, causing several of Estill County's fans to get thrown out but nothing done to him for the way he was acting.

Owsley has some of the best fans in the district but not so much for some of the coaches.

That incident was during the boys game, not the girls. But not exactly what happened. The girls assistant coach did go into the stands to address a situation with some fans after the refs stopped the game, but he is also the sheriff of Owsley County. He went into the stands along with his duputies. He wasn’t in uniform because the girls game was prior to the boys game and he was still in shirt and tie standing at the end of the gym when all the commotion started.
