Yikes. Boyd County is a great team and the class of the 16th Region, but I didn't see this coming. This was a forgettable night all way around for Russell basketball.

Russell scored 9 in the 1st quarter, 5 in the 2nd, 14 in the 3rd and 8 in the 4th. Boyd County forced a lot of Russell turnover's and beat them to most of the loose balls. Russell just needs to put this one in the rear view mirror.

I watched the game and Boyd County dominated. Boyd County should be region 16 champs again. It's going to take a great game to beat the lions in the post season.
