Correction: the first TD belonged to Hibbitt as well. Sorry gang, and sorry Avery!

Hoptown senior QB Chris Thomas scores from 7 yds out...PAT attempt falls short. BGHS 14, Hoptown 6.

37 yd attempt by Hoptown's Hayes missed, but personal foul by Purples makes it first and goal at the ten for the Tigers.

Thomas scored from the eight, but fumbled and BGHS's Ryan Beard recovered the fumble for the touchback, BGHS ball on their own 20!

End first half: BGHS 14, Hoptown 6.

Typical rock 'em sock 'em old-time WKC game so far. Thomas fumbled that ball just before the ball crossed the goal line, and that's how that play ended up a touchback on the Beard recovery (in case some folks were questioning).

Hoptown ball on the BGHS ten after an interception, but get flagged for 12 men on the field.:madman:

FG att by Hayes, good, BGHS14, Hoptown 9. Purples' D rose to the occasion on that one!

46 yd FG attempt by Tinius is good, 4:41 left in the third qtr. BGHS 17, Hoptown 9!

Interception, Ryan Beard!! At the Hoptown 45 yard line.:thumb:

End third qtr, BGHS ball deep in Hoptown territory: BGHS 17, Hoptown 9.
