silo11 Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Here is an article on a Hopkinsville Swimmer who won his event, but upon seeing his time, slammed his goggles on the water and the officials disqualified him taking away his first place finish for unsportsmanlike conduct. This was after he congratulated each swimmer in the event, something he apparently always does. The Scribe Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 In soccer, it doesn't warrant a look from anyone. Shows the difference in how unsportsmanlike conduct is viewed in different sports. Thing is, he wasn't upset at a referee, a coach or another player. He just missed his PR time. And they DQ'd him after they had given him his first place medal.
