DevilMayCare Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 This is an impressive win for Russell. They played really, really well tonight. The Lady Devils executed great team defense, Sanders was tough down low, McKenah Morris gave them a boost of offense in the third quarter, and they collectively shot well from the free throw line. Ashland is a quality team and Russell went into their place and took care of business. I wondered how they'd respond after getting handled by Boyd County. They've come back strong. Russell's displaying the kind of form you like to see as the postseason draws near.
