This is an impressive win for Russell. They played really, really well tonight. The Lady Devils executed great team defense, Sanders was tough down low, McKenah Morris gave them a boost of offense in the third quarter, and they collectively shot well from the free throw line.

 

Ashland is a quality team and Russell went into their place and took care of business. I wondered how they'd respond after getting handled by Boyd County. They've come back strong. Russell's displaying the kind of form you like to see as the postseason draws near.
