From GRC this morning, Clark defeated Harrison County and Scott defeated Augusta in the semifinals. Scott then beat Clark 42-40 in overtime to win the 10th region freshman championship.

Deep Frosh class for Scott. 3 freshman play JV only. And an 8th grader playing JV/V. Congrats to the freshman team.

We have I know of one frosh that plays JV and varsity, Morton. Did those players play yesterday?

No they did not play. The freshman team was asked if they wanted them to play, they voted no and played without them. They also had another one of their top players out with a broken ankle.

Augusta had a nice team. They had some good shooters but they were small at the guard positions. The info I got from an Augusta parent was that some of them were in 7th or 8th grade. They did a nice job creating open shots for themselves.
