The Opening Round of the Boys and Girls 10th Region "A" Tournament scheduled for Saturday at the Campbell County Middle School has been postponed.

 

The Play-in game between Calvary Christian and Silver Grove will be played as scheduled tonight (Friday) at Calvary Christian H.S.

 

I will post updates as they are provided by Tournament Director Kevin Bundy.

Revised 10th Region "A" Schedule, as of Friday 1-11 at 9:30pm

 

In the scheduled play-in games, as scheduled, Calvary Christian defeated Silver Grove in both games. The Calvary boys won 76-49 and the Cougar Ladies were victorious 43-35.

Due to the heavy snowfall we received overnight and this morning, along with the logistical issues of clearing school parking areas and getting buses from varying sites on the road, all of the 10th Region "A" Games scheduled for today (Sunday) at the Campbell County Middle School have been cancelled.

The winner Sunday will face 5th Region champ Bethlehem at 5pm Wednesday.

 

The Banshees are making their first-ever trip to the state All A Classic and are having their best season in school history so far, with a 16-2 mark to start the year. They beat host Green Co. — who has traditionally been the top small-school team in the 5th — 58-46 last night in Greensburg.
