Mustangs turn in a defensive gem, limiting the Polar Bears to just 32 points - 25 under their season scoring average.

 

Sophomore Stephen Verst scored a career high 17 points, which paced 8 Mustang scorers. Both Bryson Wieland and J.D. Schumacher contributed 11 each.

Nathan Jefferson led the Bears with 13 points.

 

Credit the Robertson County Blackdevils who made the long trek to Alexandria to see their first round 10th Region "A" opponents up close and personal.

 

With the win the Mustangs improve to 11-7 on the season, while the Polar Bears fall to to 7-9. The Bears have a date with Paris in the 10th Region "A" Tournament.
