swamprat
Braydon Point had 2 goals and an assist and Andre Vasilevskiy made 31 saves as the Bolts shutout Columbus in Tampa. Mathieu Joseph and Nikita Kucherov also scored for Tampa Bay. Sergei Bobrovsky allowed 4 goals on 19 shots and was pulled with 11 minutes left in the 3rd period. The Bolts only had 22 shots on goal in the game. Columbus is still 7-3 in its last 10 games, while the Lightning are 8-1-1. Tampa Bay is 11-0 against the Metropolitan Division, this season. neilman1234
This game turned out about how I expected. I've known the styles of play between these two teams are different but it was interesting to see last night. The Bolts swarm and attack. The Jackets would rather grind it out. After a lackluster 1st period, I was impressed that the Jackets showed some intensity in the 2nd period. Vasilevskiy was on his game though and stopped some great shot attempts in the process. The Lightning have been red hot and I look for that to continue as they grow their lead over the Leafs.
