Russell just couldn't overcome the loss of arguably their best player in Aubrey Hill early in the 1st quarter and leading scorer with a right knee injury. She also had her left knee surgically repaired already.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for Aubrey Hill and hopefully surgery goes welll. She will be missed the rest of the season. I hope she can come back next season. Aubrey was having a great season.

Losing Aubrey is a potentially devastating loss for Russell. She had really come into her own this year and was establishing herself as one of the top players in the region. The pieces are still there for the Lady Devils to have a great year, but some inexperienced young players are going to have to step up.
