Nikita Kucherov picked up a goal and an assist to extend his point streak to 10 games. Tyler Johnson and Anton Stralman also scored. Yanni Gourde's goal was the 100th point of his career. He had flown down a child from Quebec for the game, a fan of his and a part of the Make Wish Foundation. He presented the child with his scoring puck. The Lightning keep finding ways to win. They are traveling to Anaheim, today, to take on the Ducks, tomorrow night. Anaheim is the last team to have beaten the Bolts. That was back on November 27th.
December 31, 20187 yr Author I need to add that the child that Yanni Gourde sponsored at the game, Benjamin Roy, who is suffering from a brain tumor, was the Thunder Kid for the game. The Thunder Kid is a young person who skates to the center of the ring before the game when the beginning of Thunder Struck is played. After that the Lightning take the ice. It's actually quite a site that starts every game.
