With the late start of the game from Calgary and all I had going on, yesterday, I didn't see this one. I did note the 3-1 Calgary lead after the 1st period, just before I went to bed.

When I saw that Louis Domingue started in goal, that explained the slow start.

Ondrej Palat scored the lone goal for Tampa Bay in the 1st period, but the Bolts game storming back in the second and third. Three straight goals of their own, by Stamkos, Killorn, and Girardi, gave the Lightning a 4-3 lead, but Johnny Gaudreau tied it up for the Flames with less than 2 minutes to go in regulation. The game eventually went to a shootout.

In the top half of the 7th round of the shootout, Domingue saved a shot by Mark Jankowski. In the Tampa Bay side of the round, J.T. Miller put his shot on net for the win.

With 91's goal in the second period, Steven Stamkos passed Martin St. Louis for second place on the Tampa Bay all time scoring list with 366 goals. Vinny Lecavalier tops the list with 383.
