Mustang Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Very nice win for a contentious Ludlow team. Anytime a Division III team, can venture outside of that division and post a win is a major accomplishment, let along take two jumps in class in knocking off the Lady Jags. Granted the Cooper girls are winless at this point in the season, but after competing admirably with Dixie Heights, Holmes, and Boone County, I suspect they were expecting their first win to come against the Lady Panthers.
BearcatFaithful Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Final score doesn’t reflect how lopsided this game was. Ludlow held a 30+ point lead early in the fourth before relenting some and playing subs.
paNDA Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Ludlow is looking great! Teamwork and hustle are keys to their success. They just want to win.....
Chaz Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 I know Cooper is young, maybe 2-3 starting middle schoolers but this is still surprising. Ludlow have a strong upperclass? They have a couple excellent players? What tipped the scales in this game?
Chatty Cat Posted December 17, 2018 Author Posted December 17, 2018 Ludlow starts two seniors, two juniors and an 8th grader. Juniors Abby Mahan and Karina Casterellon were huge in this game. If I'm not mistaken, Abby is averaging 22-24 points per game.
Shooter2002 Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 I hate to rain on their parade but Ludlow's record is what it should be based on who they have played. Lets not crown them before they earn it. Beating Cooper this year doesnt mean much.
