Of course, this team was heavily weighted toward players who were on teams in the state tournament. There are other really good vball players out there who didn't make the state tournament. Since this was put together quickly at the end of the season, maybe next year will be a bit more balanced. I'd like to see a more thorough list of the best vball players in KY. this fall come out. But congrats anyway to those who made it!

How do you know it was put together "quickly?"

The list was put together by the newly formed Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association in Oct. 2006. Most coaches hadn't even joined the association yet in October, so the voting was limited at best. Most coaches got their ballots at the State Tournament and of course heavily voted for those at the tournament. I glad at least the KVCA is now formed. Hopefully, this year, we will actually have a coaches poll and a real all state selection process widely supported. I hope all the coaches are joining it. Mitzi Donhoff is heavily involved in setting this up and kudos to her for taking it on.
