Does anyone have any thoughts/opinions on this rivalry/63rd District game?

This game looks to be a tossup. Greenup has won the last 10 meetings.

Russell hasn't won its season opener since 2012, which also happens to be their last winning season. It'd be nice to get this season off on the right foot by snapping that streak and the losing streak to Greenup.

The future of Russell basketball will be on the floor tomorrow night. They'll be very young/inexperienced this year. Looking forward to seeing how this team comes together.

A lot of changes this year for the Musketeers, as well. Aside from the new coach, Gage Hughes has also moved on, allowing Greenup to get back to more of team oriented game. Not meant as a knock on Hughes, but he had a strong tendency to dominate the ball.

Not really sure what to expect from this game aside from the usual competitiveness that it produces.

I agree DMC, I am looking forward to seeing how Russell comes together over the season as well.
