Final. Highlands will take on Sacred Heart in state championship at 6:00pm Saturday at Frederick Douglass.

Man am I soaked from that experience.

Bethlehem has a great team, Highlands showed some good defense to shut them out. First time they have been shutout all season. Very good players with high skill level and I can see why they have one of the most potent offenses in the State. So proud of my Birds. On to the State Final to meet Sacred Heart for the third time this season. Go Birds!

The Bluebirds’ D was outstanding. Just not many shot chances for Bethlehem, and in my years of watching this group, that doesn’t happen often.

 

Salute to the Banshees for an outstanding season, the best in school history, and also a salute to their seniors, who were instrumental in elevating the school’s girls’ soccer program to unprecedented heights. Gonna miss that bunch. Thanks for the memories! :thumb:
