South Oldham 50 North Bullitt 20

Featured Replies

North Bullitt took an early 14-7 lead in this one, but then became their own worst enemy with turnovers and the like.

South - whose offense has dramatically improved since Week 1 of the season - is not the kind of team that will give you any slack if you make mistakes. The Dragons pounced on the NB miscues and made them pay, with at least one pick-6.

South has now won 8 games in a row since their season opener, and they have won their 7th consecutive district this year. Jamie Reed, in his 9th year as head coach, has never had a losing record since arriving in Crestwood, and South is looking more and more like the favorite to win the region. Not that they couldn't be beaten; but right now, they appear to have the most going for them and I would say that they have to be the favorite.

South will end their regular season this coming Friday at Shelby County HS in what has turned out to be a pretty good rivalry.

The game will be broadcast on the Pegasus Sports Network at http://www.pegasussportsky.com (video coverage begins at 7 pm)
