Warren East backs up their district 2nd seed and advances to try and revenge the beating they took earlier in the year at the hands of the Purples. Nice win for Warren East.

I don't think enough can be said about the job head coach Ben Bruni has done with this team. I'm impressed with how he's turned this team around, and shown them how to win. Two winning seasons and two trips to the playoffs. Keep up the good work, and good luck against Bowling Green High.

This was only the second playoff win in Warren East history. They defeated Green County in a Class AA first round game in 1981. I'm not sure if the Raiders can beat Bowling Green, but it looks likely something good is being built at Warren East.
