Tua is good, and could possibly be great by the time he's done at Bama, but his performance in the NC was overblown because it was in the biggest game of the year. His stat line wasn't eye-popping by any means.

 

166 Yards 3TD's 1 Pick 145 Passes Rating all in one half against a defense that was dominant until he came in. He may never be great, but there wasn't much more you could have asked for from him in that situation.
