Good win for the young Rockets, went into the game needing to win just to make the Playoffs, somehow go swimming in you know what and come out smelling like a rose with a 2nd place finish in the district! Can someone explain why they have to play Russleville next week again? When did this start in the playoffs and why?

Yeah, I am thinking the KHSAA made this decision either right before the season or during it, not sure, they originally said that the decision to have your district opponents to play each other was to help travel expenses. So is this some kind of upset for Critt?

I think that it was an upset only in the sense that Russellville had a pretty good record going in albeit against some not very good competition. Great win for Coach Starnes and the Rocket programs. The decision on the playoffs with teams playing in-district during the playoffs happened right before the season started to try and help cut down on travel expenses...but personally I don't like it as I used to enjoy the first round games against teams that we have not seen already.

Crittenden is playing well late in the season...Wouldn't surprise me to see them and Mayfield for the region championship...

I would love to see another matchup between the Cards and the Rockets...as we have nothing but respect for Coach Starnes and his program. Plus it would mean another home playoff game for the regional title instead of having to hit the road with the Rockets being a #2 seed and Mayfield being a #1 seed.

I'd love to see the Rockets make it that far but don't really see it happening but it could, even though it would just mean another beat down by the Cards. Crittenden is a year away from being competitive, they start ALOT of freshman and sophomores
