I think this may be one of Votto's worse year's of his career. I blame the team on some of that. I think losing just has him wore down. Runners on base when Votto hits has definitely been a problem. I just think he takes to many border line pitches resulting in strikeouts many with men on base.

Last 30 days 1 HR and 5 RBIs, .340 avg. Gennett last 30 days 9 HRs and 28 RBIs, .414 avg.

 

A lot of meaningless singles.
