Niehaus would get a strikeout and ground out to preserve the win for the Indians.

Finally a perfect day to play baseball in Alexandria!!!

Both Holy Cross pitchers were outstanding. Brian Carl pitched flawlessly through six innings, and Niehaus, who possesses a wicked bender, finished the job.

Mustang - I saw you walk in but didn't get a chance to get over and talk to you. You are right it was a beautiful day for baseball in Alexandria.

Good luck to the Mustangs the rest of the year and into the tournament.
