March 8, 20188 yr This was a really good win for UL. Tough for the committee to put Va. Tech or FSU in over UL when UL has the head to head advantage over both of them. Not if you look at their resumes. VaTech has wins over UNC, Duke, and @ Virginia. Florida State has wins over Miami, UNC, Clemson, and @Florida.

This season was mostly an exaggerated version of what’s happened to this program since 2013. They beat the tar out of teams they’re supposed to beat. They don’t ever sneak up and beat someone as the underdog. Even BC has some solid top 50 wins this year. UofL has blown every opportunity it’s had to cement its place in the field (any one of the FSU, Syracuse, and UVA games at home) and has failed to do so. Today will be no different. I won’t be surprised if things go either way on Sunday.
