Final from Owenton. The Wildcats defend their title and improve to 25-7 on the season.

It wasn't that close.

41-12 at half. Gallatin scored the first 6 of the third to force a running clock.

Congrats to Gallatin County and coach Jon Jones! Jon has always been one of my favorite coaches in the 8th region, and I admire his ability to do what only the great coaches can do - take a collection of parts and make the whole greater than the sum of the parts.

Gallatin will be a real threat in the 8th region tournament next week.

It’s the third time the Wildcats have won at least 25 games under Coach Jones. They also have two 24 win seasons under his guidance.
