Miami signed AJ Mayer but also got a qb that transferred from Michigan.

Just a guess but I'd say AJ Mayer and Kameron Butler both redshirt this year. Neither are listed on the depth chart.

Butler got a good number of plays tonight. I have heard that the red shirt rule has changed so that you can appear in as many as 4 games and still be red shirted. Not 100% sure if that is accurate????
