Lightning 4 Canucks 2

Featured Replies

The Bolts went up 3-0 through 2 periods. Vasilevskiy had a boatload of remarkable saves during a 5 on 3 penalty kill in the 2nd.

In the 3rd, Vancouver cut the lead to 3-2, but with under 4 minutes to go, Cory Conacher got a breakaway but was taken down from behind by Christopher Tanev, who also gave a high stick to Nikita Kucherov on the play. The result was a penalty shot for Conacher and a 2-minute power play for Tampa Bay.

Conacher hit his first ever penalty shot. The power play prevented the Canucks from pulling their goalie to get a man advantage until a little more than 1 minute left.

Good to see Conacher nail the penalty shot after he took a stick to the face to set up the penalty.
