swamprat Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 So much for the losing streak. Tampa Bay was up 3-1 after 2 periods. Justin Abdelkader cut the lead to 3-2, 3 minutes into the third, but Nikita Kucherov and Yanni Gourde responded, Gourde had 2 goals on the night, to secure the win. The Lightning scored it's 5 goals on 24 shots. Louis Domingue, in his first start in goal for the Bolts, stopped 36 shots. That game wraps up a 5 games in 8 days road trip for Tampa Bay. The Bolts went 3-2 with one loss being an overtime/shootout loss, so they picked up 7 of a possible 10 points. Not bad.
Run To State Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Watched the game, a few fights mixed in. The Bolts weren't about to be pushed around. BTW, I still can't stand Abdelkader.
