This was a good game at halftime, 7-7, and Nelson defense had been dominant. Still 14-14 midway through the 3rd, and then the proverbial wheels fell off for the Cardinals.

 

JH is a quality football team with some explosive offensive weapons. They ran a short side delay cutback out of an overload line that was run to perfection. Nelson couldn't stop it. When Jh's line decides they want to come off the ball, with their firepower they are hard to beat.

 

However, Soph. QB Marcum was badly injured in the 3rd qrtr. Don't know status, but he had to be carried off with an obvious left leg injury. Hope he is O.K.

Just completed the MRI will have the results back on Monday. The hamstring can be very cantankerous....
