For Morgan their leading scorer, Blake Evans at 18 ppg did not play due to an illness, Michael Prater had 19 points and 10 reb. Garrett Adkins had 22, Jacob Helton 11, Josh Adkins 11, and Cam Bush 2 . For Russell Hale 20, Clark 12, Whitt 6, Cannon 5, Rose 4, and Downs 3. Morgan moves to 5-1 on the year, at this time last season they were 1-5.

Russell battled back a couple of different times in the 2nd half to get within a single possession, but just couldn't get ahead of the Cougars. This team is a work in progress right now, but they showed some toughness and grit tonight, in defeat.

 

Bobby Hale played a whale of a 2nd half, with all of his points coming after intermission.

Hale played very well in the second half. Russell never quit and hit some big shots.
