American Airlines does it again.

A lot of pilots are not going into this part of the industry anymore. Whole bunch of factors, but when you can fly for UPS, FedEx, or any other courier and make great money with good benefits why in the world would you want to be in the airlines where the pay is mediocre and the benefits aren't what you'd expect. This isn't the glamorous era of PanAm anymore, airports are just glorified bus stations these days.

Kind of makes me hope that the hyperloop concept works out, it would be nice to have alternatives for rapid transit across the US.

Flew American yesterday. Stewardess announced it was the captains last American flight after 27 years. Dude looked young. I was wondering if he was going elsewhere to work after getting his full benefits.

good news, it was my last flight of the year!! It's hoops season!

A number of pilots are going to work for overseas airlines because they pay better and apparently treat them better too.
