University Heights 79 Muhlenberg County 46 (Scrimmage)

Featured Replies

University Heights led 40-11 at half and started subbing heavily in the 3rd quarter. They were led by Kyky Tandy with 34 points. Freshman KJ Crump scored 16. The Blazers were without senior Big Man Malik Lovan who is expected to return for their opener next week.

I have no idea how good Muhlenberg County is supposed to be this year but this looks to be a fairly impressive performance.

If your using this game as a litmus test your in for a world of misery.

Tandy is an impressive athlete. Would like to see him play man D against the same caliber player.

I'm not sure what you're saying... Can you expand on what you mean re: the first sentence?

I realize Muhlenberg probably isn't very good. But it was an impressive performance by University Heights...

Should be an exciting year in the 8th district.

I think what he is saying is that who UHA will face much stiffer competition in their district. They have a tendency not to play defense.

Muhlenberg is very very young. They will be a serious contender in 2 years. For one Muhlenberg was without Will Nofsinger who is expected to be the team leader this year, he was sick.

Secondly UHA has been well known for being one dimensional on offense for several years and it showed through Tandy.

That performance will not get past Hoptown after the return of Johnson.

Good deal. I understand now. I think the question for UHA is this. Now that they have a team that will start 3 juniors a senior and a freshman, do they have the experience to get past the top teams in the region?
