South Oldham is 7-1 after beating Bullitt Central 42-7.

North Bullitt is 2-7 after losing to Bullitt East 19-40.

South Oldham has already clinched the district championship, and QB Drew Zaubi is getting hot as the regular season is wrapping up.

Who wins?

Hard to see this as anything but a South win. The last two years' matchups decided the district regular season title, but NB is on a rebuilding job this year. 23 of 49 roster players are freshmen and 12 are sophomores. There are just 6 seniors.

South comes in riding high....the Dragons have clinched their sixth consecutive district regular season crown and have won 7 straight games. If they win out (over North Bullitt and Shelby) they will enter the post-season tied for the longest winning streak at South Oldham since before the 1998 season (South started last year 9-0). The Dragons seem pretty healthy, and feature a multi-pronged attack with several talented runners and a strong passing game. Last week, the special teams came up big in the win over Bullitt Central 42-7 as the Dragons returned the opening kickoff 76 yards for a TD and later blocked a punt and a field goal.

North Bullitt wraps up their regular season this week, and they come into the game 2-7. The Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs in last week's 40-19 loss to Bullitt East, a game that was just 26-19 late in the third period. Connor Abnee had a solid game last week against the Chargers, throwing for two scores and running for another. Though no playoff berth awaits, team pride will power the Eagles this week as they try to wind up their season with the big upset win.

The question is whether the Eagles can slow the powerful Dragon running game; the Eagles gave up over 400 yards on the ground to Bullitt East last week, and the Dragons are even more explosive on the ground, with the powerful fullback Keaton Martin and speedy Colton Bowlden and J.T. Benson at the wings. Senior QB Drew Zaubi is also a threat to run; he scored on runs of 51 yards and 22 yards last week.

If you can't make it to the game, the video broadcast will begin at 7 pm on The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN
