PK win in overtime for the camels. Well fought on both sides

Yeah sorry. Won in PK shootout after being tied after overtime.

They played two 40 minute regulation halves, two five minute "Golden Goal" periods and then sent five shooters each to contest PKs.

Brossart succeeded on shots #1 and #4, Campbell County hit shots #1, #2, #3, and #4 for the win.

Both teams advance to next week's 10th Region Tournament held at Campbell County High School. The draw will be conducted today (Friday) at 12:30pm.

With the win Campbell County avenged an earlier season 6-2 loss to the Mustangs.

Ironically, the Girls game between Brossart and Campbell County which followed also followed the same scenario with regulation ending in a 1-1 tie. The Brossart win avenged an earlier season 6-0 loss, and was only our girls 5th win of the season - Go Figure!!!

Attended my first game of the year and it was a good game. Both team had several chances but just couldn’t finish. Both goalies had some nice saves. The excitement was overwhelming so I left with about 10 minutes left to go in regulation for date night.

Good catching up with some folks including pizza connoisseur @Just Sayin and finally getting my autographed copy of Nothing More, Nothing Less, Nothing Else (Ken Shields story as told by Dave Schabell).
