gchs_uk9 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Outside of those ranked in the top 10 in Class 3A, who do you think has a legitimate shot at winning a playoff game or two? Is there anyone that hasn't been talked about much but could be a threat? Who? Why?
westernky Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 It's between Paducah Tilghman and Waggener in my opinion. Waggener has two of the top three players in the state and Tilghman has a nice run game and they gave Caldwell all they could handle.
Watusi Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Most all of them have a chance to win their first playoff game, but not many will win 2. The best opportunity actually belongs to Bell Co. If they can beat Casey and earn the 2nd seed from District 8, then they would be in a good position to win their first two playoff games and earn a regional final match with Corbin. Waggener has the talent, but their 2nd game would be a long road game on Pond Creek. Tough row to hoe there. Tilghman would be a long shot, IF they beat Union in the regular season and earn a 2nd seed. They MIGHT have a shot at beating Etown in round 2, but it wouldn't be likely. The rest of them have no shot
