Lee High, Va. vs. Cawood

Featured Replies

Lee High has some good athletes alone with a BIG line and a VERY good lefty QB.

Lee High has an enrollment of around 900 and if they had a good Coach they could have one of the best football teams in SWVA.

They have an amazing band though (I'd guess they had 50 to 75 band members when they came to M'boro).

Cawood will give them a tough game and IMO it's to close to call.

Any idea what Cawood's enrollment is? I know that Lee High is going to single A next year. I am heading to the game this Friday, but I'll be sure not to wear anything with Generals on it down in Cawood!

Cawood has about 700 students. There were about 1,200 in the 70s.

You won't actually be in Cawood on Friday. The school is named after a former superintendent, not the community.

Lee's band is very impressive.

Cawood won big two years ago. Lee won big last year. It should be close this time.

I went to the home game vs. Gate City and Lee's band had about 100 in uniform. They have a really nice stadium out there too. How far of a drive am I looking at from EKU to Cawood?

I've made that trip about a thousand times. It's two hours if you don't make any stops.
