Walton Verona (3-2) waded into the deep waters of 2A and discovered that they're not quite ready for primetime. The Bearcats took one on the chin against #5 LCA, 48-13.

 

They'll now pay a visit to district foe Owen County (3-1). The Rebels are coming off an open week after a solid win over 1A Fairview.

Owen doesnt have enough horses in the stable. Is what it is. Get through this game and move along, Owen can finish second in this district IMO.

I have seen both teams play and WV is on another level then Owen is at this point in their respective histories.
