East Carter vs. West Carter 2017

East Carter 3-0 on the season and West Carter at 1-1. West Carter has won the battle for the barrel the last three years by over 130 points. Can the Raiders make it more competitive this year or will the Comets continue to dominate their cross county rivals?

East breaks the streak in 2017 and may start one of their own for a few years.

West Carter will have 3 to 4 freshman on the field at anytime on offense and defense, they also have a new QB leading the offense, West Carter is a very young and inexperienced this season. Raceland took them to school last week. As for the future it's bright and I don't expect East Carter to be beating West Carter on a regular basis anytime soon.

 

If West Carter can execute 50% of the time on offense they will put up 40+ on the scoreboard. If their young defense finds away to make East punt 4 or 5 times the clock will run again this year.

West may win I think the game could go either way I might give East a slight edge especially at home, but don't see anyway that West puts a running clock on the Raiders this season.
