Christian County has delivered on expectations with a strong 3-0 start to 2017. This week they host the winless Hopkinsville Tigers (0-3). Hopkinsville has had a tough schedule losing to South Warren, Mayfield, and Caldwell County. The teams have a common opponent in Caldwell County with Christian County beating them 27-10, while Hopkinsville fell 21-28.

Can't believe it is Tuesday before the game and I'm the first one with a comment.

Even though Christian County should win this game, Hoptown will get fired up to play this game. If Henderson County can hold Christian County to a 1 TD game, then I think Hoptown can too. It's a rivalry game and anything can happen.

Hopkinsville has some good young talent. I really like the QB. Caldwell game for Hopkinsville was a lot of self inflicted wounds. Tigers controlled game for 3 quarters. Colonels game against Henderson was similar. Maybe they can both figure it out and play complete games. Should be a good environment but I think County will be too much. Think they may get a few players back this week but they are trying to make it to bye week to try and get healthy before district play.

Hoptown has got enough athletes and enough coaching to be very dangerous. Christian County has got enough injuries and enough "scratch your head moments" to get beat. Christian County should be to big to fast and too physical. I see them wearing the Tigers down by the end of the game. 28-7

County wins. Both head coaches have a beer together after the game.
