Final.

I don't have any details as I was at the Bethlehem game.

Both Bardstown and Bethlehem are undefeated as they approach the 10/27 head-to-head.

A separate thread could be started on the demise of the once-proud Campbellsville program. Herbie Wiseman's a nice fella; I wonder what has happened down there?

Congrats

Apparently, the Tigers did not play all that well. In their Homecoming game, Campbellsville scored first, and it was 13-6 Bardstown at half time. I would imagine the halftime speech was somewhat "rousing."

Campbellsville is rebuilding. They start 7 freshman and soph's both ways. These young kids play J.V on Monday and varsity on Friday. They will be back in 2007. They graduated 13 seniors last year and have only 6 seniors this year. Their schedule doesn't help. Bardstown last week, Bethlehem this week and Louisville Holy Cross next week. But their J.V. team is unbeaten averaging 35 points a game while only giving up 7 points a game. Wiseman and company will again be solid in the coming years.

Looks like these teams can be dangerous at anytime and when playoffs come around, who is one to watch out for? May not be a cake walk from round to round for any of the teams that play in this district and the paired region district.

I do like to see the positive attitude from an Eagle fan after what has transpired this year. Herbie is a good coach and Campbellsville has a solid tradition that can overcome even a year like this.
